How do I scrapbook my journal?
The perfectionism that goes into scrapbooking stresses me out. So instead of a classic scrapbook, I want to make a journal, with words and explanations and song lyrics, with some cute decorations and pictures added in. I’m thinking like 75% journal, 25% pictures/cute stuff. Any suggestions on websites I can look at?

Lots of people have a CAS style (Clean and SImple) for scrapbooking. This means they use a lot of ‘white space’ on their pages:

About photos: sometimes one picture is enough on a page, especially if you have lots of journaling to add.

Here’s another idea: At the moment I am making an art journal of ideas. It has only a couple of small photos in it and the rest of the journal is words and borders. I wash each page with pale paint, then add a border of scraps of cardstock, magazine strips, or anything else that takes my fancy, then when the paint is dry I write directly on the pale page or I add some journaling spots to it.
